As I wait for winter to turn to spring, it’s great to think of simple, warm, little plates of food to make quickly for a last-minute visit from friends. This is delicious: what could be better than warm goat cheese, thin croutons of crusty pain au levain, a splash of olive oil, and a few sprigs of rosemary? Pop it in the oven and out comes a delicious molten cheese that is perfect to dip a spoon into and eat while it’s hot. This photo is perfectly Paris to me as the typical French windows and lattice work are a clear sign that we could be nowhere else on a cloudy winter day. What are your favorite quick recipes with warm cheese?
