I watched for what seemed like forever as the façade of Saint–Sulpice in the 6th Arrondissement was covered for renovation. I walked by on my way to somewhere recently, or maybe I was just walking with nowhere in particular to get to, when Saint-Sulpice appeared in front of me glowing like a newborn child. Wow, this is a “must-visit” site for those on holiday here in Paris. I positioned myself so I could frame trees around part of the church to show off its new finish bathed in sunlight. I am always looking for a different way to see places that I have maybe already seen hundreds of times.
