Rue Daguerre
The pedestrian street rue Daguerre in the 14th Arrondissement is bustling with an after-work shopping crowd.
Rue Daguerre, located just off the Denfert Rochereau roundabout, holds a special place in my heart because it is named after Louis Daguerre, inventor of the daguerrotype, which was birth of the photographic image.
I am constantly amazed at how vibrant this city is when I visit shopping streets. We constantly hear about the demise of French eating habits but as far as I am concerned there is a huge amount of emphasis put on high-quality food products and clearly the clientele is here for the purveyors to stay in business. I, for one, take advantage of the amazing fresh products available.
Technical Details: iPhone 3Gs, Hipstamatic App, John S Lens, Ina’s 1969 Film.
