Place de la Concorde
I stepped out from underground at Métro: Concorde, at this exquisite moment of dusk during late autumn.
As I crossed the street and stood in front of the luxurious Hôtel Crillon, I turned around and gazed at at giant place de la Concorde with the glowing carrousel in motion at left and the Luxor Obelisk monument at right.
I like that there are pedestrians and cars in discreet view to give the image depth as well as the brilliant early night sky.
I always try and allow myself extra time when going from point to point in Paris just in case there is something magnificent to see along the way.
Technical Details: iPhone 4, Hipstamatic App, John S lens, Ina’s 1969 film, no post production.
