Champ de Mars Ponies

After picking up my 4-year-old daughter from school, we walked over to the Champ de Mars to meet friends for a late afternoon picnic. Fall weather in Paris is delightful when warm and sunny with stunning golden autumn light. I am constantly looking for new perspectives in Paris which is completely saturated with iconic images practically around every corner. As my daughter was running and playing with her friends I noticed the pony cart being prepared for an afternoon ride. The Eiffel Tower is seen out of focus in the background and the cart and trees are wonderfully backlit with the dreamy light of autumn in Paris.
