Murder in Montmartre, the sixth in the Aimée Leduc Investigations set in Paris, by Cara Black comes out in March and is an April Booksense Pick, selected by the American Independent Booksellers Association.
Aimée Leduc’s childhood friend Laure, a policewoman, is accused of murdering her partner on a snowy rooftop. When the police close ranks against Laure, it’s up to Aimée to clear her. In doing so Aimée encounters a crooked Corsican bar owner, a Surrealist painter’s aging stepdaughter, Separatist terrorists, Montmartre prostitutes and discovers links to her father’s death, a death that still haunts her.
