Tour d’Argent

As the season turns from autumn to winter here in Paris I will begin to post some images that are shot indoors. As I spend much of time focused on everything related to food and wine, as well as photography, here is an image from the “oldest” restaurant in Paris, La Tour d’Argent. The restaurant is not the tower of gastronomy that it once was, but it still is an amazing place to sit and have a wonderful meal complemented by arguably best wine list in the world. Staring out at Notre Dame as day fades to evening and then taking in the luxurious dining room and the quiet hustle and bustle is a sincere pleasure. This image captures head Sommelier David Ridgeway in action during dinner service.
