My husband and I love macaron baking class at La Cuisine Pairs; good cake and cookie bakers. The cohort range from "Never baking (young couple) to 'goal: take all classes at La Cuisine Pairs" to "nice to bake-afraid" - "Falil at macaron baking with all the equipment and pans." The class were split into two groups so we baked two favorites of macarons and made two fillings. Each class member assemble many macarons with choosing favorite/filling; such as pistachio macaron filled with coffee cream. The students were sampling but La Cuisine provide boxes from the remaining macarons. At the hotel, our macarons looked better and we brought some back to USA. I have tried to Italian macaron. Note: Buy the spices at La Cuisine

I am exploring the feasibility of attending cullinary arts school in Paris in the fall. I am an American. I live in Hemet, California a small famility oriented community located about 100 miles east of Los Angeles. I will prefer a school with classes taught in English yet incorporating lessons in French. I really do not know where to focus my search and will appreciate any pointers on school, class size, fee structure, duration of courses ( preferably fast track) and reputation.
