With Paris Luxe, Covington requested a modern upscale, 1 bedroom apartment in an elevator building in either the Latin Quarter, St Germain des Pres or Montmartre, the apartment could not exceed $250 per night and she asked that the search be limited to four apartments. Covington doesn’t grocery shop in D.C. so shopping in her adopted hometown was not an option so Paris Luxe arranged pantry, fresh groceries and gourmet prepared meals from Picard delivered for her ten day stay. Within a week after contacting Paris Luxe, Covington selected her home on Rue Laplace, close to the Panthéon, backing the Luxembourg Gardens for $220 per night. The apartment was managed by a fashionable English speaking artist named Sophie. Covington was copied on all the correspondence to Sophie and promptly received deposit and contract details from her new landlord. "I will never forget that moment, Covington said as she recalls entry into her Parisian apartment, it was like my birthday and New Year’s Eve rolled into one. It would have been IMPOSSIBLE without Paris Luxe." Paris Luxe Apartments, 1-800 708-7659, www.parisluxeapt.com
