Photo of the Week – June 13, 2014

One week ago marked the 70th Anniversary of the D-Day landings on Normandy’s coast. This photograph was taken on June 6, 1944 by Robert F. Sargent, the US Coast Guard chief petty officer and photographer’s mate who photographed troops landing on Omaha Beach.
