This photo shows a glimpse inside the Musée de l’Orangerie, the famous art gallery that houses impressionist and post-impressionist paintings including eight of Claude Monet’s water-lily paintings (known as les Nymphéas in French). The museum, which is located on the edge of the Tuileries gardens overlooking Place de la Concorde, also houses works by Paul Cézanne, Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso and Maurice Utrillo to name a few.
