Photo of the Week – September 20, 2013

Here’s a photo I took a few weeks ago at Lac d’Annecy. Taken from the lakeside village Talloires in the Rhône-Alpes region, it’s an amazing place to visit and enjoy what is known as “Europe’s cleanest lake”. A powerful underwater source called the Boubioz and small rivers from the surrounding mountains feed into the lake. Paul Cezanne captured the lake’s beauty in his painting Le Lac bleu in 1896.
