Photo of the Week – February 15, 2013

One of the best things about art is the exchange that comes from putting something out there. Just such an exchange happened in response to last week’s photo, which captured a rainy evening in Paris through the glass wall of a bus stop. I was contacted by a Bonjour Paris reader who saw my photo and then shared this rainy Paris photo of his own. Sherman, who has made yearly visits to Paris with his wife for years, was headed to the airport when he saw this view from the back window of the cab. He grabbed his camera and got the shot. The raindrops create an interesting texture over the Tour Eiffel towering in the hazy morning sky. Wishing Sherman many more beautiful photo ops on future trips to Paris! photo © Sherman Kaplan
