This past Sunday, over 100,000 people took to the streets of Paris in support of the Marriage Equality Bill. The manif took place on one of the first sunny days the city has seen in a few weeks. Police say that there were 125,000 rally participants, but organizers of the event put the number at 400,000. The bill, which the French government began to debate early this week, proposes that gay couples be entitled to the same rights as straight couples. photo by Elendol , via Flickr
