The luxury hotel hosts “In Fashion,” showcasing a unique selection of iconic fashion photographs by celebrated photographers
Le Royal Monceau, Raffles Paris– located close to the Champs Elysées and within site of the Arc de Triomphe— ticks all the boxes for a luxurious stay in the city.
Transformed by Philippe Starck and reopened in 2010 keeping the original 1930s spirit, the hotel features 149 rooms and suites (three Presidential Suites), a 99-seat cinema and luxury boutiques. There’s a buzzing bar (the perfect meeting place at any time of day), an exclusive Art Concierge service by Julie Eugène, and an in-house Art District Gallery.

Downstairs the Clarins – My Blend Spa offers the ultimate urban escape for complete relaxation and indulgence. With the longest swimming pool in a Paris hotel, personal trainers, a wide range of yoga and Pilates classes, hammam, watsu basin and exclusive treatment rooms, this award-winning spa takes rejuvenation to another level.
Food and drink are an art form at the RM. Choose from modern Japanese cuisine by Nobu Matsuhisa or Italian regional food at the Michelin star Il Carpaccio. Desserts are by pastry superstar Pierre Hermé and — in the cinema– there’s perfect popcorn by PH, bien sûr.
Walk into the RM lobby until March 31st and prepare to be amazed by Brit artist Zoe Bradley’s haute couture homage in the form of a dreamy red flower ball gown made with more than 8,000 interlaced hand sculpted folded papers and on loan from Sotheby’s, London.

This is the centerpiece for works punctuating the RM and celebrates art and fashion in collaboration with Art Photo Expo. You’ll find a unique selection, in the Art District Gallery of the hotel, of fabulous fashion photographs from the 1950s to the present. (Entry is free from Tuesday – Saturday 11.30am-7pm and Sunday-Monday by appointment).

Audrey Trabelsi, co-founder of Art Photo Expo, curator of the exhibition and consultant to collectors in acquisition of Fine Art Photography explains: “I have brought together the most dazzling shots by famous photographers (Jeanloup Sieff, Philippe Robert, Emma Watson, Claude Azoulay, Pierre Boulat, Arthur Elgort, Tony Frank, Melvin Sokolsky, Michel Comte etc.) paying tribute to fashion and fashion designers (Dior, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent). For as long as fashion has existed, the most beautiful creations by great couturiers have been immortalized on the pages of glossy magazines such as Vogue, Elle and Harper’s Bazaar – fashion photography reflects society at different eras”.
Some pieces are for sale, prices range from €1500 – €25 000 euros.
