Hotel Eiffel Blomet Opens in the 15th

After an extensive renovation the Hotel Eiffel Blomet has recently re-opened its doors, ready to welcome guests to the 15eme for a luxurious stay in sumptuous, Art Deco-style surroundings. Located on the historic Rue Blomet, the hotel is less than 30 minutes walking from the Eiffel Tower, placing it in a key location for visitors to Paris. The street is also home to the famous cabaret “Bal Nègre,” which after re-launching earlier this year is also enjoying a renaissance. Frequented by Josephine Baker, Joan Miró, and André Masson during the Roaring Twenties, the opening of the cabaret along with the the Hotel Eiffel Blomet brings a touch of glamour to the 15eme, and makes the street a destination point for those who want to re-live one of the city’s golden eras. For the renovation the hotel called on architect Bruno Borrione, known for his work on the luxurious Royal Monceau. Borrione has updated the nearly 90-year old hotel with a contemporary edge, while still respecting its traditional Art Deco style. The rooms are light, bright, and spacious, with the hotel offering nine elegant suites and 87 rooms in total. The furniture is all made-to-measure to make the use of the typically petite Parisian rooms and celebrate the craftsmanship of the time, with rich materials such as rosewood, grained leather, and bronze adding warmth the room’s light blue and celadon green color palettes. Guests will also find the hotel has dedicated an impressive space to its newly built swimming pool. Bathed in natural light from the glass ceiling above, like the rest of the hotel, the pool evokes the feeling of a Fitzgerald novel with its geometric shapes and blue and turquoise mosaics, and makes the perfect place for a retro inspired one-piece and some indulgent relaxation time. There is also a spa, sauna, and hamman for added luxury, as well as fitness area for those feeling more energetic.  Providing another area for guests to “get away from it all” is the hotel’s lounge area, which has been revived by “Les Bains ” architect Vincent Bastie. Here Bastie has created a cozy, home-from-home living room where guests are encouraged to stay and relax with a paper or good book.
