Goat Cheese
Goat Cheese by photojournalist Clay McLachlan ©2011 On a recent visit to my current favorite temple of cheese, I found myself overwhelmed with happiness while exploring the goat cheese section of the fromagerie. The palette of colors and shapes including circles, triangles, rectangles, hearts and sqaures had me dreaming about what wine I would pair with each cheese. It is my sincere belief that food is one of the most wonderful ways to sample culture and living history. I highly recommend that anyone visiting Paris should take the time to seek out one of the many top-quality fromageries. Ask the fromager to make a selection of cheeses-of-the-moment for you to take home . . . if it makes it that far or at least to a nearby park or along the Seine with a warm baguette!
