Tour de France Finish on Champs-Élysées

Event Description

The last stage of the Tour de France is held every year in Paris, on the Champs-Élysées. This is a huge spectator event, seeing a huge part of Paris closed to vehicles. Purists to the sport of cycling usually turn their noses up at this event, given that the winner has usually already been decided in the mountains, but this year’s Giro d’Italia saw a changing of the leaders jersey in the last stage- so anything could happen.
