Don’t miss this highly anticipated exhibit, the first monographic exhibition devoted to John Singer Sargent in France. Despite his fame in the United States (his Portrait of Madame X is widely considered the Mona Lisa of the Met’s American art collection), his name and work remain largely unknown in France. It was in Paris, in fact, where he received his training and developed his style as a young artist. Created in partnership with the Met in New York, the exhibition “Sargent. The Paris Years” aims to introduce the painter to a wide audience. The exhibition brings together over 90 works.
