La Nuit des Musées: Night at the Museum in Paris

Event Description

Every year, the fleeting event sees close to 1,200 monuments, flagship museums and châteaux up and down the nation flying their gates open after-hours free of charge, with behind-the-scenes access to exhibits and workshops thrown in (all until the last stroke of midnight). As usual, a packed bill of street performances will keep (shivering) punters entertained as they edge their way towards the front of the line. A unique chance to have a good nosey round the Louvre and co’s off-limits treasures.
