Event Description

La Nuit aux Invalides at the historic Hotel National des Invalides invites you to view the historic courtyard as you’ve never seen it before. The Hotel situated in the Musée de l’Armée, was originally created in the seventeenth century. The monument, commissioned by Louis XIV to house soldiers injured in battle is a master-piece in classical style, thanks to architect Liberal Bruant. Today, the Hotel des Invalides, is more than a listed buidling, it is a part of Paris’s history and a centre of national importance.

A sensory light and sound show directed by the company Amaclio will bring Gaul in the middle ages back to life. Music, stories and images will retell 2000 years of Paris’s past in a magical and futuristic experience! The show will see over 45 minutes of breath-taking 3D graphics projected on 250 metres of The Hotel Invalides main courtyard, bringing the skylights, stone and corridors to life.

  • English performances will be held on Mondays.
  • French performances: Thursday, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

The show is free for Children under 7. Each sessions begins at 22.30, with the gates opening at 21.30 and lasts for 50 minutes.

Tickets starting from 19 euros
