La Course des cafés

Event Description

The Course des cafés (Café Race), formerly called la course des serveuses et des garçons de café (the Waitress and Waiters Race) returned last year to much fanfare and celebration. (Check out the photo essay by Meredith Mullins.) Organized by the City of Paris, this legendary race brings together more than 400 professional and apprentice waitresses and waiters, who will set off at 9:30 a.m. For the first time, 150 Parisians will also be able to test their skills during the race.
