Event Description

The Rodin rediscovers the creation of an icon (The Gates of Hell): the task that Rodin could never complete but that inspired his work. The exhibition will showcase 170 works, including rarely seen sketches and newly restored sculptures. To quote the official website: This fresh look will “immerse visitors in the fascinating history of this masterpiece, which was so influential in the development of sculpture and the arts. With these mysterious, imposing doors that never open, Rodin presents a spectacular view of Hell – feverish and tormented.”
