Body and Soul Sculpture in Italy at the Louvre

Event Description

Following on from the “Springtime of the Renaissance” exhibition (September 26, 2013–January 6, 2014), the “Body and Soul” exhibition, organized in collaboration with the Castello Sforzesco Museum in Milan, seeks to bring to light the main themes and ideas developed in Italy during the second half of the Quattrocento.

It is set to be an interesting insight into different themes in the time of Donatello and Michelangelo. If you are unfamiliar with classical sculpture but want to learn more, this is a great place to start because of the themes and the different pieces across the exhibition space.
