The Orangerie Museum presents the exhibition, American Painting in the 1930s. A vital moment in America, the 1930s mark a significant point in the emergence of Modern Art in America, as artists responded to the changing landscape of American history, industry and culture. The 50+ works on display include pieces by prominant artists such as Marsden Hartley, Grant Wood, Georgia O’Keefe, and Edward Hopper.
