7th edition of the Art History Festival: Fontainebleau

Event Description

U.S.A stars as the guest country of the 7th edition of the Art History Festival in Fontainebleau this year. Featured will be works from Andy Warhol and Edward Hopper, focusing on their influence on cinema, with directors such as Alfred Hitchcock and Jim jarmusch. There will be conferences about artistic relations between USA and France, artists and collectors profiles, conferences about the place of the artist in the American society, about photography that mainly grew in the United States.

The Guests of Honour will be Jeff Koons and Frederick Wiseman.
