A Photo Tour of Paris’s Beautiful Holiday Decorations
It’s the most wonderful time of year in Paris. You can smell the roasting chestnuts and hot mulled wine as you stroll down the Champs-Élysées. Colorful lights are strung above the cobblestone streets and storefronts come alive with inspiring decor. This year Galeries Lafayette dazzled us with paper polar bear cutouts displayed as a moving puppet show. The bears spring around the window with gifts and shopping ideas– filling the crowds with cheer. Take a photographic journey through Paris’s most acclaimed department stores with views inside Galeries Lafayette Haussmann and Le Bon Marché

Just returned from Paris and seeing the Christmas decorations at both stores, Le Bon Mâché and Galeries La Fayette are amazingly beautiful. The polar bears and penguins in the white paper designed backgrounds of the Christmas windows at Le Bon Mâché are incredibly beautiful and I will dream about them.

Holiday decorations in Paris are more widespread, beautiful, and memorable than we've experienced in America.
